Laidlaw College

We were asked to “breathe new life” into the main atrium space, which was a vast uninviting, reverberating, thoroughfare. Our vision for the refit of the college’s atrium, cafe, reception and library was for renewed life; to see interaction between faculty, staff, students, supporters and visitors.

We created an inclusive space where intentional community is cultured and the college’s vision of being “A WORLD SHAPED BY LOVE, COMPELLED AND INFORMED BY THE GOSPEL” is present naturally. The spaces were designed in a way that stops people as they walk past, engages them, and includes them in the conversation.
