We’re excited to reveal the new Mexico restaurant in Britomart, a fresh and sophisticated take on the iconic brand. Mexico has long been known for its soul and authenticity, with past locations exuding energy and immersive charm through elements like worn brick walls, Frida Kahlo portraits, and hand-painted murals. The latest iteration of Mexico pushes the brand forward, blending its rich history with a more refined design approach.

Our design intent was clear: to preserve the essence of Mexico’s vibrant spirit while introducing a more contemporary and less cluttered aesthetic. The space now celebrates handcrafted details, featuring beautiful mosaic art and pottery that serve both as functional and decorative elements. These ceramics are central to the design, reflecting Mexico’s longstanding pottery-making tradition and infusing the space with warmth and character.

This transformation offers a balance of lightness and sophistication, enhancing the immersive dining experience. Guests can expect a visually captivating atmosphere, where the handcrafted nature and cultural heritage seamlessly blend with a chic, modern flair.
